Gard'n Gro Dechorinator

The Gard'n Gro Declorinator is designed to eliminate and remove the harsh effects of chlorine in your garden water. The Dechlorinator converts the chlorine into a safer chlorine substance through means of electro-chemical reduction. This occurs when the water begins to flow over the zinc and copper media within the system. This media can process 20,000-25,000 gallons of water at a 4-5 GPM reduced flow, allowing for 85-95% of the chlorine to be removed.

Chlorine is detrimental to plants and water as it kills bacteria. Sometimes plants need to rely on good bacteria and many beneficial microorganisms in order to thrive, as they provide the plant with food. Extremely chlorinated water kills these microorganisms, thus harming the plant.
