Bahco Heavy Duty Bypass Lopper - P180

This Bahco Heavy-Duty Bypass Lopper P-180 is intended to cut live wood in a wide range of landscaping applications and activities.

These heavy-duty bypass loppers feature a short and thick blade that can stand up to extreme abuse and stress and also feature a deep counterblade to catch large branches. The counterblade's hook shape on the lopper allows for a larger cutting diameter and will hold the branch steady during cutting. The cutting blade slides past the counterblade in a scissor motion, "bypassing" them.

The pivot bolt is offset from the natural centerline of the lopper. This design allows a slicing motion during cutting, helping in the pruning of live wood and spreads wear over a large area of the blade extending its already long lasting life.
